A global research hub to democratize wellness.

MAKING WELLNESS ACCESSIBLE TO ALL

The term democratizing wellness refers to the movement to make wellness practices and resources more accessible and inclusive to a wider range of individuals, regardless of their socio-economic status, race, gender, age, or other factors that may limit their access to these resources.

OUR SCOPE

Key Areas of Focus

We aim to assemble healthcare providers, business professionals, researchers, policymakers, students, educators, and technologists to explore advancements in mental wellness through research, advocacy, education, and collaborative efforts.

We prioritize respect for diverse mental health models and strive to bridge cultural divides to create effective and culturally appropriate approaches to mental health.

Our mission is to democratize wellness by promoting access to diverse and inclusive approaches to mental health and wellness.

The Blimish team respects and honors indigenous mental health models, and we prioritize prevention and wellness as alternatives to our Western society’s current focus on pharmaceutical treatment and sick care. We recognize the socio-environmental determinants of mental health and emphasize the importance of all community members such as mid-level and non-professionals, including community healthcare workers, and caregivers.
