Good morning! Have you ever thought about how the revolutionary leaders in history were able to accomplish their greatness? Leaders such as Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, Thomas Edison, Nelson Mandela, and even Barack Obama.
One thing every revolutionary leader has in common is a high level of curiosity. According to the dictionary, the word curious is defined as, “eager to know or learn something.”
Most people never solve the major problems in their lives because they lack the curiosity needed to establish healthy solutions, therefore they remain stuck in their ways.
However, if you are able to develop the curiosity to know or learn something, you will be able to accomplish your wildest dreams.
Today, I want to give you a simple, 3-step process that will develop you into a curious, revolutionary leader.
Albert Einstein once said, “If you can’t explain it to a six-year-old, you don’t understand it.

“Somebody has to stand when other people are sitting. Somebody has to speak when other people are quiet.”
– Bryan Stevenson

1. Choose Your Struggle
There are struggles in everyone’s life. Whether you are a man or woman, rich or poor, black or white – EVERYONE struggles with something!
Identifying your struggle is the first step to transformation. The key principle to remember with this step is to choose one struggle and place all your energy into it.
In sports, they say, “Keep your eye on the ball.” Focusing on one struggle and seeing it through is the only way to reach the ultimate goal of leadership.
2. Identify the Problem
Once you choose a struggle to attack, this is where your curiosity will thrive the most. You must identify the problem at the root of the struggle. Ask yourself these questions:
Why is it a struggle in the first place?
What does it take to overcome the struggle?
What will life look like once the struggle is conquered?
You HAVE to see the vision on the other side before you can arrive there.
Take time to sit with yourself and identify your biggest barrier. Once you have discovered the core problem, research it.
Find out why humans struggle with common problems.
The aforementioned revolutionary leaders were only able to lead on a grand level because they were solving problems that millions of other people suffered with.
Identifying the problem is essential before you get to this final step
3. Take Action Towards a Solution
ACTION! It is the most underrated word in the dictionary. A dream without action is simply just an idea. Anything you want to accomplish in life requires taking action.
Be mindful to set small goals and accomplish them. That will lead you to your solution.
Every leader has a plan for their destination. Even though it will likely change along the way, planning will help you build the confidence needed to take action.
I hope this email serves as a brick being perfectly laid on the stairway to greatness.
Continue to build!
