Pick up your ax and chop wood ?

Good morning! Let’s be real, life isn’t a bed of roses for anyone. Many times, in order to enjoy roses, we must either go out and buy them or have them sent to us. In any case, we’re still working to get the roses. To be successful in life, we must, like roses, take action.

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”

To acquire the help we require, we must stretch our hands. We must sacrifice some of our aspirations in order to pursue others. We must pick up our ax and chop wood to get anywhere in life. This requires gaining new skills, letting go of old ones, submitting to others, and learning from others, ourselves, and life.

If you treat something like a test, you’ll be more concerned with passing the test than maximizing your progress through the experience. Consider the learning period to be a period of self-discovery.

To make the most out of the time you spend chopping wood, you must first determine what tree to chop; or, what issue to tackle. Knowing what is best for you will assist you in making the most of the time. Your water or wood may be working under someone’s supervision; do it cheerfully and diligently, and learn everything you can.

It doesn’t matter if the process isn’t perfect or if it’s not the best route you’ll discover. In the long run, what matters is what you do with the process, how it influenced you, and what happened to you afterward.

We all admire the majesty and aura of greatness and aspire to be great ourselves one day. We desire it more than anything, yet there is another aspect of excellence that we must appreciate: the journey.

The journey to greatness begins with a desire to achieve excellence. This is the most straightforward phase. We are stress-free when we dream. It’s fun to sit and daydream about living in a mansion, but taking steps to create one isn’t nearly as enjoyable. The second and most crucial aspect of greatness is action.

Without picking up your ax and chopping wood, you’ll never be great. You can’t construct a house without a foundation, and you can’t be successful without wood and water, either. To various people, wood and water have distinct meanings. For some, it’s more writing. It could be attending a class, reading a book, or going on a trip for some.

See the process of chopping wood as an opportunity to grow. See it as a period where you get to be the judge of how well you do and how much you learn from doing it. Do not see the period as a test or competition and get in the way of your own potential. Understand that nothing is a test but only an opportunity to learn and grow.

Keep going!
