Good afternoon!
I’ve always appreciated the first week of the month because in my mind, it represents hitting the RESET button. Going into the last month of the year, you may need to hit the reset button for yourself.
Ask yourself this:
Does life ever feel overwhelming to you? Are there times when you think about everything there is to do, and you just want to lie down and not do anything?
I’ve been there before, and what has helped me is creating a mental RESET button in my mind, and pressing it whenever I am overwhelmed.
Our minds have the ability to create our realities. In this email, we will walk you through the process of pressing the RESET button.
1. Acknowledge The Trigger
The first step is acknowledging the trigger that leads to the need for you to press the reset button. It could be an argument, doing something that you know you shouldn’t have done, or it could be the end of a stressful month or week.
Whatever the trigger is for you, you must first acknowledge it, and realize your reset button is needed.
2. Take 3 Deep Breaths
Next, you’ll want to take 3 slow, deep breaths. This part is crucial. Take a deep breath. Feel your chest rise and fall….
Now, repeat, two more times.
Slow, deep breathing has been linked to improved brain functionality and lower stress levels. This quick breathing exercise will prepare you for the last and final step.
3. Speak Positive Affirmations
Affirm out loud that you are hitting the reset button, say this statement aloud: “I am pressing my mental reset button. My mindset is now renewed. I feel calm, open minded, and excited to take on the day with a new, positive mindset.”
Voicing affirmations has twice the impact on your mind by saying them out of your mouth and hearing them through your ears.
After you speak the affirmations, you must believe that they are true. If you find it hard to believe the first time, continue to read until you do believe.
The same goes with this email. If the message doesn’t resonate with you after the first time reading, read it again.
I hope this acts as a brick being laid down onto your foundation of happiness.
Keep going!
