Balance… What? How? When? ⚖️

Now, this is a topic that every reader can relate with - balance

Now, this is a topic that every reader can relate with – BALANCE. The hard truth is there is only so many hours in a day, and it’s impossible to do every single thing you want to accomplish all in one day. You have the necessities, like sleeping, drinking, eating, and earning a living. Then, there’s your leisurely activities – talking to friends, watching TV, and building your brand. Balance is defined as “an even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady.”

We want you to remain steady, so let’s dig a little deeper into balance.

“There is virtue in work and there is virtue in rest. Use both and overlook neither.”

– Alan Cohen

1. What?

I gave you the definition of balance, but I would like to paint a clearer picture. Balance looks like having peace with your journey. It will teach you how to be where your feet are. (In other words, being present in that current moment.) No more thinking about that television show while you’re working on your business, because you know that the time will come. Creating balance also opens the door to freedom which is something everyone seeks.

2. How?

Many different people have their own beliefs on how to create balance in their lives. In this email, we will give you one GOOD strategy. If you would like more strategies, reply to this email! (It may take a while to respond, but we promise to get to everyone.)

When creating balance, it is important to know exactly what is on your plate. You will need to make a list. It’s time for another T chart. On one side, write down everything that’s essential and on the other side, list everything that’s nonessential. Certain things can wait, and are not as important as others. You will need to be strategic with your time, and that is why I saved the next question for last…

3. When?

Make a schedule for every day of the week based on your list of things that need to get done. There will probably be activities that need to be done daily, such as going to work, working out, feeding your pets, etc. Then, there are your non essential activities that you do once or twice a week (washing your car, hot yoga, getting a massage, etc). Fill your schedule in accordingly. Remember, balance is key! Take care of yourself in the midst of getting all of your goals accomplished.

Keep going!

I hope today’s email acts as another perfectly laid brick as you build your stairway to success.
